Gulf Craft, one of the world’s top 10 superyacht building shipyards, goes green! With the assistance of the UAQ Ministry of Public Works Service Department, Gulf Craft conducted a clean up of the local beaches in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain last April 14. The UAQ Beach Clean-up Drive is Gulf Craft's way of giving back to the community.
Our UAQ Beach Clean-up team of more than 50 Gulf Craft employees, headed by Mr. Erwin Bamps, Chief Operating Officer of Gulf Craft and Mr. Mohd. Abdul Monem, HR Manager, met with Mr. Mohd. Salama and Mr. Sultan Ghanam, representatives from the UAQ Ministry of Public Works Service Department around 8 AM. Our task was to clean up three coastal areas in UAQ. At the end of our clean-up, we have gathered around 2 truck loads full of waste materials.
Mr. Erwin Bamps said " Gulf Craft cares for the marine environment that we worked in. We have initiated this activity to be in line with the UAE government’s initiative on health and safety programs. Gulf Craft is committed to our corporate responsibility."
