From having no marinas at all, Krabi is set to jump into the yachting big league with two marinas due to open this year, one of them considerably bigger than any currently on the shores of Phang Nga Bay.
The Phuket News reported earlier this month about the Krabi Boat Lagoon marina which is due to open in November as well as about the Port Takola marina, also expected to be commissioned later this year.
The two additions will provide a welcome impetus for boat lovers in Thailand to explore the waters around Krabi.
